The Vestil TLAD-10 aluminum telescopic ladder extends in 12" step increments up to a height of 10 ft., while its closed height of 29" is suitable for storage in limited spaces and transportation inside cars, trucks, and vans. The aluminum material is lightweight and resists rusting. The ladder meets American National Standards Institute (ANSI) A14.2-2000 standards for Type II medium-duty commercial ladders with a weight capacity of 225 lb., and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 29 CFR 1910.26 standards for portable metal ladders. When closed, the ladder measures 29 x 18.5 x 2.75 inches (H x W x D). (H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.) The ladder's steps are serrated for traction and are 1-1/2" deep. The lowest step is 6" above the ladder's feet, which are conical shaped for greater slip resistance. The molded rubber feet and top bumper guards help protect walls and floors against scratches. The ladder weighs 22 lb.
Telescopic ladders are ladders divided into multiple lengths for more convenient storage and transportation. The lengths telescope to fit into one another for storage and transportation and slide apart to extend the ladder's length for use.
